The vivo S2 is rumored to launch on August 6, with the company already teasing the phone’s design. Now, a new leak has revealed the handset’s expected price and specifications. According to a tipster on X, the vivo S2 could cost between INR 40,000 and INR 45,000 at launch. This price is expected for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model.
The tipster also claims that the phone will have a box price of INR 66,999. However, the actual launch price could be lower than the listed box price. The vivo S2 is tipped to feature a 6.83-inch curved AMOLED display. The screen is expected to offer a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The phone could use MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360 chipset. This should give the device enough power for everyday tasks and demanding apps. For photography, the vivo S2 may feature a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary camera. A 2MP sensor is also expected to join the main camera. On the front, the phone is tipped to include a 32MP camera. It should handle selfies and video calls.
The battery could be one of the phone’s biggest features. The vivo S2 is expected to pack a 7,050mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The handset is also tipped to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings. These ratings would offer protection against dust and water.
Alongside the smartphone, vivo could also introduce a new pair of TWS earbuds. The earbuds are reportedly being prepared with 10mm drivers.
They are also expected to offer up to 50 hours of total battery life. Bluetooth 6.1 connectivity is also said to be included. The earbuds could arrive in Basalt Black and Nilgiri Green color options. However, these details remain based on leaks and have not been fully confirmed.
With the expected launch date approaching, more details about the vivo S2 could emerge soon. The company is likely to share additional information before the phone officially arrives.
