Xiaomi has started sharing key details about its next smartphone, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max. The company has now confirmed both the design and several core specifications. At the center of the device is MediaTek’s newly launched Dimensity 9500s chipset.
The update came through an official post on Weibo. Redmi disclosed that the Turbo 5 Max will include a 9,000 mAh battery. This is one of the largest capacities seen in a mainstream smartphone.
At the same time, the brand published official design renders. The images show the phone in the Ocean Breeze Blue color option.
The Turbo 5 Max will use a CNC metal frame paired with a fiberglass back panel. It also features a metal ring that surrounds the pill-shaped dual rear camera module.
Earlier leaked renders suggested a different look. However, the official images now point to a design that closely matches the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro.
So far, Redmi has not shared a launch date for the Turbo 5 Max. More details are expected in the coming weeks as the release draws closer.
