Capcom has started 2026 on a massive hot streak. The developer launched the critically acclaimed Resident Evil Requiem and a highly successful new IP, Pragmata. Fans quickly praised Pragmata for its charming characters and unique shooting mechanics. Now, new leaks suggest the company plans to keep this momentum going.
Alleged Capcom insiders recently shared major details about upcoming projects. A Reddit compilation gathered these rumors yesterday. The post links to tweets from known insider Dusk Golem and Twitter user StiviwonderN. Ultimately, these leaks point to a massive lineup of highly anticipated sequels and remakes.
Resident Evil 10 & Classic Capcom Remakes
Capcom currently has multiple Resident Evil projects in production. The biggest reveal is the next mainline entry, Resident Evil 10. Insiders refer to this game by the codename “Project Redlife”. Furthermore, the leaks claim returning heroine Claire Redfield will star in the new title.
Additionally, leakers mentioned several long-rumored remakes. Capcom is reportedly working on Resident Evil Code: Veronica and Resident Evil Zero. The developer is also remaking the original Resident Evil. Insiders claim the RE1 remake has stayed in pre-production since 2022 or 2023. However, the project recently entered full production.
‘Ada Wong’ Returns in Resident Evil Requiem DLC
Fans have eagerly awaited news about story DLC for Resident Evil Requiem. The game’s director previously confirmed a narrative expansion. Yet, specific details remained scarce. Now, the leaked information teases multiple story-based DLC packs for the hit game.
The first DLC set will feature fan-favorite super spy Ada Wong. Many fans expressed frustration over Ada’s complete absence from the base game. Consequently, this upcoming expansion should easily ease those complaints. Previously, Capcom released a mini-game DLC for Requiem that received mixed reviews. Therefore, players will likely welcome more narrative-focused content set in the game’s bleak world.
A Devil May Cry Remake
The leaks also venture beyond the survival horror genre. According to the insiders, Capcom is actively developing a remake of the original Devil May Cry game. The sources did not provide any further details about this specific project.
Capcom likely dislikes these internal leaks. However, if these rumors hold true, loyal fans have plenty of reasons to stay excited for the rest of the year and beyond.
