A new leak has shared more details about the upcoming Oppo Find X10 Ultra. Although the flagship is still at least a year away, early information suggests Oppo is working on major camera improvements.
According to the latest leak, Oppo is testing a new 200MP periscope telephoto camera for a future flagship. The sensor is said to measure 1/1.3 inches, making it one of the largest telephoto sensors under evaluation. While the leak does not mention the phone by name, it is widely believed to be the Oppo Find X10 Ultra.
The report also claims Oppo is evaluating another 200MP telephoto sensor. This version reportedly features an even larger 1/1.12-inch sensor. However, the company has not finalized its decision. In addition, Oppo is reportedly considering Samsung’s upcoming HPC sensor for the device.
The leak further reveals that the phone may include a second periscope telephoto camera. This camera is expected to use a 50MP Samsung GNB sensor with a 1/1.95-inch size. The same source shared similar information in an earlier leak. Therefore, the latest details further point to the Find X10 Ultra.
For comparison, the current Oppo Find X9 Ultra already offers advanced zoom hardware. Its 200MP primary telephoto camera uses a 1/1.28-inch sensor. Meanwhile, the 50MP secondary periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom features a 1/2.75-inch sensor.
Although Oppo has not confirmed any of these specifications, the latest leak suggests the company is testing larger camera sensors for its next premium flagship. More details are expected to surface as the launch gets closer.
