Samsung has released the fourth One UI 9 beta update for the Galaxy S26 series, nearly a month after the third beta build arrived. The latest beta appears to be rolling out in India first and carries a firmware version ending in ZZG4.
Users enrolled in the One UI 9 beta program will receive the update over the air. The download size is around 1.25GB, so users may want to use a stable and fast internet connection before installing it.
The new beta mainly focuses on fixing bugs and improving system stability. Samsung has resolved several issues that users reported in previous beta versions. These include problems related to the clock size, Quick Panel, navigation bar, timer notifications, and the Routines app.
In addition, the update includes the July 5, 2026 Android security patch. The latest security patch brings improved protection and fixes for known vulnerabilities.
Samsung is expected to officially introduce One UI 9 later this month alongside its next-generation foldable smartphones. The software will debut on the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip8.
The company has already scheduled its next Galaxy Unpacked event for July 22. During the event, Samsung is expected to unveil its new foldable devices and share more details about One UI 9 and its new features.
After the launch of the new foldables, Samsung will gradually expand the stable One UI 9 update to older Galaxy smartphones and tablets. However, the company has not yet confirmed the exact rollout timeline for existing devices.
