Balochistan has inaugurated its first Entrepreneurship AI Lab for Women, aimed at promoting women’s empowerment, digital inclusion, and economic independence across the province.
The lab was formally inaugurated by Dr. Rubaba Khan Baloch, Adviser to the Chief Minister on Women’s Development, in collaboration with the Women Development Department and DOCH Private Limited.
The initiative is designed to train women in artificial intelligence, digital skills, business development, and modern technology, enabling them to gain practical expertise for self-employment and entrepreneurship.
Officials said the platform will help women build careers in freelancing, online business, and technology-driven ventures, contributing to broader economic participation.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Rubaba Khan Baloch said that women in Balochistan have significant potential and the government is committed to equipping them with modern skills.
She added that education alone is not enough, emphasizing the need for access to technology and entrepreneurship opportunities to ensure real economic empowerment.
The AI lab is expected to create new pathways for women to become financially independent and contribute to innovation-led development in the province.
