He stated that Best Buy’s affiliate team contacted him regarding a “GTA VI Pre Order (Physical Game)” campaign. According to the email, this campaign will run from May 18 to May 21, 2026. Furthermore, Best Buy allegedly offered a 5% commission on online sales for creators who direct customers to their retail stores.
To prove his claim, the creator showed the sender’s email address on camera. Later, third parties verified that the address appears to belong to a legitimate Best Buy affiliate marketing department. The creator also shared an image of the email details in the X post shared above.
