HMD has expanded its feature phone lineup with four new Nokia models that bring AI-powered features and video calling to basic mobile devices. The new lineup includes the Nokia 200 4G, Nokia 210 4G, Nokia 215 4G 2nd Edition, and Nokia 235 4G 2nd Edition. All four phones run the S30+ operating system while keeping Nokia’s familiar physical keypad design.
The biggest addition is a dedicated AI button that launches the Sikey AI assistant. Users can ask simple questions or control phone functions with voice commands, including turning on the flashlight, opening the camera, setting reminders and alarms, or calling saved contacts. HMD is offering the AI service free for the first 180 days, after which users will need a paid subscription purchased through a companion smartphone app.
Despite their feature phone status, the devices also support video calling through the Xpress Chat app and include front-facing VGA cameras. The app supports voice messages, text chats, photos, and emojis, while Android and iPhone users can join conversations through the Xpress Chat app.
The Nokia 200 4G and Nokia 210 4G feature 2.4-inch QVGA displays, while the Nokia 215 4G 2nd Edition and Nokia 235 4G 2nd Edition come with larger 2.8-inch IPS screens. The Nokia 210 includes a VGA rear camera, whereas the Nokia 235 upgrades to a 2MP sensor.
All four phones pack removable 1,450mAh batteries, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C charging, 3.5mm headphone jacks, and FM radio support. HMD has yet to announce pricing and wider availability, although the phones are already listed on its official website in selected markets.
