Oppo has officially confirmed that its upcoming A7 Pro Max smartphone is real. The company has also revealed one of its biggest highlights. The Oppo A7 Pro Max will feature a massive 10,000 mAh battery. This makes it the largest battery ever used in an Oppo smartphone.
The confirmation comes after a recent leak revealed details about the device. The phone also appeared to run a Geekbench test, which exposed some of its key hardware. Oppo shared a teaser image of the A7 Pro Max on Weibo. However, the company has not yet revealed the phone’s full specifications or launch date.
According to earlier rumors and the Geekbench listing, the Oppo A7 Pro Max will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. The screen is expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate and “1.5K” resolution.
The smartphone is rumored to use the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 SoC. It could also come with 12GB of RAM. For photography, the phone is expected to feature a 50MP primary camera. A 2MP secondary camera will reportedly sit alongside it on the rear.
On the front, the A7 Pro Max could include a 50MP selfie camera. The phone is also rumored to support 80W fast wired charging. Despite its huge battery, the smartphone is reportedly 8.47mm thick. It is also said to weigh 226g.
