A new leak has revealed the first details about Oppo’s upcoming A7 smartphone series. The leak also shares the main specifications of the rumored Oppo A7 Pro Max. If the information is accurate, the device could become Oppo’s first smartphone with a massive 10,000mAh battery.
The latest information comes from a well-known source, who posted the alleged specifications on Weibo. The new details also match an earlier leak from June that claimed Oppo was working on a phone with a 10,000mAh battery.
Oppo A7 Pro Max Specs
According to the leak, the Oppo A7 Pro Max will feature a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display. The screen is expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate and offer a 1.5K resolution for smoother visuals and sharper image quality.
The smartphone is also tipped to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset. In addition, it could pack a huge 10,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. Even with such a large battery, the phone is said to weigh 226g and measure just 8.47mm thick.
For photography, the Oppo A7 Pro Max may include a dual rear camera system. The setup is expected to feature a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. Meanwhile, the front of the device could house a 50MP selfie camera for high-resolution photos and video calls.
Oppo has not confirmed the existence of the A7 series yet. However, recent leaks suggest the company could introduce the lineup in the coming months. Until then, these specifications should be treated as unofficial.
