Pakistans 3g 4g Users Surge To 141 64 Million In February 2025

ISLAMABAD: The number of 3G/4G users as well as penetration in Pakistan increased in February 2025, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) data revealed.

The number of 3G and 4G users in Pakistan increased from 139.95 million by end January 2025 to 141.64 million by end February 2025.

The monthly Next Generation Mobile Service (NGMS) penetration has increased from 57.08 percent by end January to 57.68 percent by end February.

Total teledensity –the number of connections for every hundred individuals in the country, increased from 80.4 percent by end January to 80.87 percent by end February.

The number of cellular subscribers increased from 194.508 million by end January 2025 to 196.017 million by end February.

Jazz’s total count for 3G users remained zero by end February. Jazz 4G users increased from 51.552 million by end January to 52.395 million by end February.

Zong 3G subscribers decreased from 1.801 million by end January to 1.785 million by end February while the number of 4G users increased from 39.124 million by end January to 39.594 million by end February.

Telenor 3G subscribers 1.255 million by end January 2025 to 1.158 million by end February while the number of 4G users of Telenor increased from 25.675 million by end January to 25.967 million by end February.

Ufone 3G users stood at 1.911 million by end February compared to 1.946 million by end January. The number of 4G users of Ufone increased from 16.849 million by end January to 17.093 million by end February.
