Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event is just hours away. However, leaks about its upcoming foldable phones are still appearing online. The latest leak gives us another look at the Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide before its expected official launch.
The source has posted a new set of official-looking Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide renders on BlueSky. The images provide a closer look at Samsung’s next wide-screen foldable phone. The leaked renders show the Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide in three different color options. These include Cream, Graphite, and Lavender finishes.
Meanwhile, a pistachio version is also rumored to be offered exclusively through Samsung’s online store. One of the leaked images focuses on the phone’s cover display. The screen is rumored to measure 5.5 inches and use a 16:10 aspect ratio.
The display also appears to have slim and uniform bezels. This could give the phone a cleaner look when it is used in its folded form. The same image also provides a view of the device’s bottom edge. It shows the speaker grille, USB Type-C port, and microphone cutouts.
Another render highlights the Flex Titanium hinge layers used with the Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide’s inner display. The main foldable screen is expected to measure 7.6 inches. It is also rumored to feature a 4:3 aspect ratio.
Samsung recently shared details about its new Flex Titanium technology. The company says the technology will debut with its upcoming foldable devices.
According to Samsung, the system combines a titanium alloy film with a flexible titanium plate. This design is intended to improve durability and reduce visible creases on the display. In addition, Samsung says the technology should help provide a better overall viewing experience.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset. The foldable is also rumored to feature a 4,800mAh battery. For photography, it could include a 50MP primary rear camera.
The main camera may be joined by another 50MP ultrawide camera. More details are expected to emerge when Samsung officially unveils the device at Galaxy Unpacked.
