Samsung has officially confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S12 series will launch later this year. The company shared the update during its Q3 2026 earnings call, ending months of speculation about its next premium Android tablets.
The confirmation came from Samsung executive Daniel Araujo while answering a question about the financial challenges facing the company’s mobile business during the ongoing RAM crisis. He explained how Samsung plans to handle the situation by focusing on its flagship devices.
Daniel Araujo said, “To manage this (financial difficulty), we’re focused on maintaining strong sales momentum of the S26 series, while ensuring the successful launch of new premium products coming out in the second half, such as the new foldable series, Tab S12, and Watch Ultra 2.”
Although Samsung confirmed the Galaxy Tab S12 lineup for 2026, the company did not announce an exact launch date. However, the tablets could debut in September. Samsung introduced the Galaxy Tab S11 series during the same month last year, making a similar timeline likely.
Samsung is also expected to unveil the Galaxy S26 FE around the same time. The smartphone recently appeared in certification listings with support for 45W fast charging. That suggests its launch may not be far away.
For now, Samsung has only confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S12 series will arrive in the second half of 2026. More details about the tablets are expected to surface as the launch event gets closer.
