Xiaomi has confirmed that the Xiaomi 17T series will launch on May 28. Xiaomi has officially called this lineup “the biggest T Series upgrade yet.” The announcement removes all remaining doubts about the launch timeline.
Over the past weeks, multiple leaks have already revealed key details about the Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro. These leaks included official renders and detailed specifications. As a result, most of the major features are already in the spotlight ahead of launch.
Both models will run on MediaTek chipsets. The Xiaomi 17T is expected to feature the Dimensity 8500-Ultra. Meanwhile, the 17T Pro will likely ship with the more powerful Dimensity 9500 SoC. This puts the Pro model in a clear flagship position.
The wait is almost over. It's finally happening.

Display differences also separate the two phones. The Xiaomi 17T Pro is expected to feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the standard 17T will carry a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both screens focus on smooth visuals and sharp output.
Camera hardware remains a shared strength across the series. Both phones will include a 50MP main camera. However, the 17T may use a Light Fusion 800 sensor. In contrast, the 17T Pro is expected to use a Light Fusion 950 sensor. Additionally, both devices are said to include a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and a 12MP ultrawide camera.
Battery capacity is another major difference between the two models. The Xiaomi 17T is expected to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging. Meanwhile, the 17T Pro may include a larger 7,000mAh battery. It is also rumored to support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Pricing details have also surfaced for Europe. The Xiaomi 17T (12GB/256GB) is expected to start at €749, which is around $878. The Xiaomi 17T Pro (12GB/512GB) may launch at €999, roughly $1,170. Both models aim to target the upper midrange and flagship segments with competitive pricing.
