Xiaomi has officially revealed the Redmi K100 Pro Max after a recent leak showed the phone in a cherry red finish. The company has now confirmed the phone’s design, introduced a new color option, and announced the launch date for the Redmi K100 Pro series in China.
Xiaomi confirmed through an official Weibo post that the Redmi K100 Pro series will launch in China on August 11. The announcement comes just a day after a leaked image of the Redmi K100 Pro appeared online.
In another Weibo post, Redmi shared official images of the Redmi K100 Pro Max in a new Cabernet Red color. The finish closely matches the cherry red version seen in the earlier leak.
The company also confirmed several hardware details. The Redmi K100 Pro Max will feature a flat 6.9-inch display with ultra-narrow bezels. It will also have a curved metal frame while keeping a design similar to the previous Redmi K90 Pro Max.
On the back, the smartphone includes a triple-camera system with a periscope telephoto camera. Xiaomi has also kept the Bose-powered rear woofer, a feature first introduced on its predecessor. Meanwhile, Xiaomi has already opened pre-reservations for the Redmi K100 Pro Max through its official online store in China.
Xiaomi President Lu Weibing also shared pricing details in a separate Weibo post. He said the Redmi K100 Pro will cost around CNY 4,000. However, he confirmed that the standard Redmi K100 will arrive later, with its official announcement planned for a future date.
