Furthermore, this exciting cosmetic arrives as part of a crossover event with Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. The studio also released a fresh story trailer to build hype ahead of the game’s September 15 release.
A Classic Anime Look for Free in Marvel Wolverine
During the recent San Diego Comic-Con, Insomniac Games revealed this impressive day-one collaboration. Players will get to equip the “MARVEL Tokon” suit right at launch. Inspired by the Arc System Works title, this suit brings a striking anime style to the game. It proudly features Wolverine’s classic bright blue and yellow color palette from his iconic X-Men days.

Most importantly, Insomniac Games confirmed that this cosmetic will not cost you anything extra. While the game features other suits as pre-order bonuses, developers will give the Tōkon outfit to all players for free. You simply unlock it through standard game progression.

However, the collaboration goes both ways. Fans of Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls also have a reason to celebrate. On September 1, players of the fighting game will receive Wolverine’s base “Battle Reborn” suit entirely for free. The developer officially announced this swap on X, telling players to don the suit and “show them why you’re the best there is”.
