David Beckham has become the newest addition to Fortnite Icon Series, with Epic Games launching an exclusive in-game collection celebrating the career of the former England captain both on and off the football pitch.
The collaboration introduces two character outfits representing different chapters of Beckham career. The David Beckham Outfit features his iconic No. 7 jersey, with an alternate shirtless version that includes reactive gold tattoos glowing brighter with each elimination during gameplay.
The Club Owner David Beckham Outfit reflects his current role as co-owner and president of Inter Miami CF, dressed in a tailored black suit bearing the club crest. Both outfits are also available in dedicated LEGO Fortnite versions.
The collection includes additional cosmetics inspired by Beckham playing career. The Beckham Shot emote recreates his signature free-kick technique, widely known for inspiring the phrase Bend It Like Beckham.
Players can also unlock the Meteor Baller Pickaxe and the Number Seven Scythe Pickaxe, the latter featuring a reactive effect while harvesting weak points, along with the Beckham Number and Club Crest back blings, with the crest design including reactive visual effects.
Commenting on the partnership, Beckham said Fortnite offered new opportunities to engage with fans worldwide, adding that the collaboration reflects both his playing career and his current role in the sport.
With this launch, Beckham joins an established lineup of football figures in the Icon Series, including Lionel Messi, Harry Kane, Marco Reus and Vinicius Junior, as Epic Games continues expanding its collaborations between football and gaming.
