Jazz Records Highest Telecom Complaints at 4,987 in February 2025, Ufone Lowest at 1,435

ISLAMABAD: Jazz leads the chart with 4987 complaints followed by Zong as the second-most with 2823 complaints telecommunications operators, revealed Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) data.
PTA received 12020 complaints from telecom consumers against different telecom operators and cellular operators in February 2025, out of which, 11883 (98.9 percent) were resolved.
Official data revealed that the complaints were received against various telecom operators, including cellular mobile operators (CMOs), Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), long-distance international (LDI) operators, wireless local loop (WLL) operators, and internet service providers (ISPs), during February.
Cellular mobile subscribers constitute a major part of the overall telecom subscriber base. Therefore, the maximum number of complaints belongs to this segment. The total number of complaints against CMOs by February stood at 11565, out of which, 11453 (99 percent) were addressed.
According to the PTA data, 4987 complaints were received against Jazz, out of which, 4979 (99.8 percent) were resolved. Further, 2304 complaints against Telenor were received, out of which, 2276 (98.8 percent) were resolved. Likewise, 2823 complaints were received against Zong, out of which, 2773 (98.2 percent) were addressed. A total of 1435 complaints were received against Ufone, out of which 1410 (98.3 percent) were resolved.
The PTA also received 91 complaints against basic telephony, out of which, 89 were addressed during February with a resolution rate of 97.8 percent. Furthermore, 344 complaints were received against ISPs, of which, 321 (93.3 percent) were addressed.
